Security Officer | Part-Time | 32hrs | Bathurst

We are seeking an experienced Security Officer to oversee the gatehouse operations at our client site in Bathurst. This role involves regular face-to-face interactions with contractors, truck drivers, and couriers, requiring excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to enforce site entry protocols.This is a Permanent Part-Time position based at our client site in Bathurst.  You will work an average of 32-38 hours per week across various shifts scheduled over a 6-week period.Weekly Rostered Hours:Week 1: Tues, Weds - 6:00 am – 1800 = 36hrsWeek 2: Mon, Tues, Weds - 6:00 am – 1800 = 24hrsWeek 3: Mon, Tues 6:00 am – 1800, Sat and Sun - 6am – 6pm = 60hrs What We’re Looking For:A valid security license for NSW and a current first aid certificate.Experience managing gatehouse security operations, including data entry, maintaining spreadsheets.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Ability to manage deliveries, perform data entry, and ensure strict compliance with site protocols.Confidence in observing, reporting, and responding to incidents effectively.Previous experience with gatehouse and weighbridge operations is preferred.If you meet these qualifications and are ready to take on a dynamic role, we’d love to hear from you! Why choose Sodexo?  Sodexo is a people business, employing over 400,000 people worldwide and thousands here in Australia. Our employees, who personify Sodexo's unique values of Service Spirit, Team Spirit and Spirit of Progress, are our greatest asset through their commitment and dedication.  We believe the more diverse we are, the stronger we are.
